Family Vacation Resort At Lake George N.Y. For 2008 Season?

I would just look into renting a house or a cottage. That is what we did when we stayed for a family reunion. We had one cabin rented out at this place. It was not fancy at all…but was fine for a a trip up there.
We also rented another old house right on the water which was cool across from The Sagamore Resort. There are tons of houses and cabins so definitely check them out before looking into a hotel. It was great having a place on the water…cause the kids could just run out in the backyard and jump into the water from the dock. Plus some places have canoes and rowboats you can take out.
There is a new hotel that the Great Escape just built. It has an indoor water park and is great for kids. You would have to check with the people at the hotel you choose about dock space.
