Try hotwire.com – my boyfriend and I are going to the DR for one week with a direct flight to a 4 star resort for next to nothing.

Go to bookingbuddy.com, vacations tab on the top, and you can type in your dates and destination and easily navigate 5-6 popular sites to compare prices at different places. I would also check out hotwire.com as said earlier. applevacations.com is another reliable site.

You can check ratings of resorts/hotels through tripadvisor.com to see which one looks best.

    Good luck!
