Steve H asked:

I’m thinking something tropical, I recently went to vegas and loved it. I’m from boston so keep that in mind in terms of travel cost, also since our (USA) economy is so bad, hopefully you can suggest somewhere where my american money can actually buy something. Lookin for somewhere thats relatively cheap, fun for a young crowd (Im 21), with good beaches for a spring break type vacation.

Try a cruise. A good travel planner will know which cruise line to steer your towards if you’re wanting a younger, party-type atmosphere. You only have to unpack once and you know what the cost will be going in. It’s also a great way to see multiple destinations/beaches without the added expense. Keep in mind the prices are usually listed per person, two to a cabin. You won’t be spending much time in your cabin, so don’t pay extra to get a balcony. It’s money you can spend on excursions or other fun things. Some cruise lines offer a free upgrade anyway — it’s a fantastic, cheap vacation.

p.s. there are several that leave out of New Your so you could possible save on airfare if you can drive there.

You should consider getting prices from a few all inclusive spring break companies. You can go to any of popular spring break beach destinations.

You pay one low flat rate & everything is included.

Up to 50 hours of free drinks.
No waiting in line and VIP treatment to all the parties.
    Meals and hotel accommodations.
    Designated drivers.
Personal tour guides for your group to make sure everything goes right.

Some trips start under $100 and payment plans are available where all you need is a small deposit to get going.
