there are loads of uk newspapers around i think you can advertise your website on the uk newspaper websites but im not sure. try searching for university magazines/newspapers as well

ADVICE – dont stick to just paper advertising loads of people are online
ONLINE – the best I know:
1] FREE UK & Overseas classifieds [no need to ‘confirm email’ and has great features for users to use] Listed in Google and more and I saw Avon advertised their too.
2] FREE [confirm email] For other FREE classifieds search Google.
The yellow pages are good… (many people use it!)
Also try google!
Also, if you have the money… try the major papers….
Also, try your supermarkets… they often offer very cheap or free ads!
Also, try local radio stations…. they aren’t majorly expensive….
