Why do people take their children to Casino Resorts for a “family” vacation? And do you think this is ok?

I work for a construction company that is currently adding onto a casino. I overheard some woman in the bathroom complaining yesterday that there were no activities for children. She said “I guess they don’t want children here.” Of course they don’t! They want you to gamble, and the best way to gamble is without distraction. In my opinion, casino resorts are not family vacations. I think it is selfish of parents to take their children where there is not much for them to do and call it a family vacation. If the parents want to gamble, they should do it sometime when they have a babysitter. Children deserve Disney World, camping, and other fun things like that. NOT casinos!
