my family wants to possibly go on a cruise for christmas vacation… but we are limited with money. there are four of us.
do you know of any good deals for a maybe 4 night cruise?
we want to maybe go to the bahamas or somewhere near there.

I’m trying to book a cheap Caribbean vacation for two (Bahamas, Virgin Islands, St. Martin, DR, or Cancun, or similar) for the week before Christmas. When I get on the websites, they advertise a price, but as soon as I enter my details (travel dates, etc.) the price quadruples. What am I doing wrong? I am willing to fly back on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day — I thought this would make it cheaper but perhaps I am wrong? What dates would make it come up as the advertised price? I can be flexible (leaving anywhere between December 16th and 20th, coming back anywhere between 20th and 25th). Which dates/destinations would give me the best deals?
